The Story

IAC's Frank Gehry–designed headquarters sat on land owned by a separate party. We ran a vigorous marketing process that drew private-equity and high-net-worth interest, and even as interest rates were rising and investment demand was cooling, we secured a premium sale, with IAC itself buying the land beneath its own building.
